It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Mary O’Brien (née Purcell),
late of Jamestown, Piltown, Co. Kilkenny, on 26th August 2026 at Cork University Hospital, in her 82nd year,
surrounded by her loving family.
Pre-deceased by her beloved husband Lory, her cherished son Niall and her brother Kieran,
Mary will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sisters Margaret, Brid and Ann;her son Paul; daughters Claire, Colette and Lorraine; her seven grandchildren Eimear, David,
Emma, Harry, Ben, Charlie and Sophie; daughter-in-law, sons-in-law, extended family, neighbours and friends.
