AN EVENING OF PRAYER
You are invited to join with Bishop
Ger as he leads us in Evening
Prayer in preparation for his
Episcopal Installation as Bishop of
Ossory on 13th September, 2026
when he begins his ministry as our
Bishop. He will visit our Parish for
an evening of Prayer on Friday, 28th
August at 7:30pm and will lead us in
evening prayer in the Church of the
Assumption in Owning (Oldest
Church in the Diocese of Ossory –
1798). The Prayer service will be
followed by refreshments in Piltown
Community Centre. All parishioners
are encouraged to attend and avail of
the opportunity to meet with,
welcome and chat with our new
Bishop. All are welcome.
